JULIAN RIVERA (He/Him) (Benni Deveuax) is so excited to spread some Christmas cheer! Past work includes La Cage Aux Folles, Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit them, Sister Act and Legally Blonde. Also known as Luna Flare (She/Her), Kansas City’s favorite “Queen of Cosplay.” Luna is an award-winning cosplayer and a featured subject and producer of the Cosplay documentary film “What We Can Be” directed by Nick Young, (Amazon Prime). She is also proud of her work with organizations such as Children’s Mercy and The Make-A-Wish Foundation. Come see her host Saturday Brunch at Hamburger Mary’s KC.

Jackson Tomlin/Allura (Holly Dei) is beyond excited to be taking on this role! You may have seen her recently in La Cage Aux Folles at MTH. Apart from performing, she’s served as Stage Right Performing Arts Co-Director of Choreography 2021-2023 as well as choreographing musicals at high schools and different companies around KC! She’s thrilled to be combining her two favorite arts, theatre and drag, alongside some beautiful souls. She’d like to thank Miller Marley, SRPA, MM, Karma Sutra and her incredibly supportive friends and family!

Scotty Sharp (Brad Sergeant) is very excited to be playing the role of Brad! You may have seen him locally in Newsies at The New Theater Restaurant featuring as “Finch/Buttons/Henry, Hot The Musical at The Unicorn Theatre featuring as Paris, Nick Padgett’s Production of American Idiot featuring as “Will” and The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring as “Brad”. Scotty has also spent many seasons performing locally at Worlds of Fun, and abroad with RWS Entertainment Group and Carnival Cruise Lines.
JAMIE LINN PRATT (Trisha Blue/Trish) is a performer, instructor, and producer based in Kansas City. She is the Executive Artistic Director of Hypothesis: a Theatre Lab and a professor with Burlesque Finishing Academy. You can also find her in burlesque shows around the country under the name Annie-Mae Allure when she isn’t clowning around with her boys Erik and Braedon. Recent credits: Nightmare on Main Street (Spooky Sh*t Show, Sylvia (Arts Asylum), Kansas City Horror Play Festival, The Adventures of Radioactivity Man and One Eyed Electrical Socket (Pun Productions LLSea)
TRAVIS MENDOZA-HOLT (he/him/his) (Nick Love) is thrilled to be returning to the Black Box stage with such a talented cast and creative team! Travis’s recent credits include Ensemble in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (The White Theatre), Gerry Goffin in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (The Barn Players), Old Prince Bolkonsky/Andrey in Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812 (Fishtank Theatre), William Barfeé in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (TTIP), and Woof in Hair (Padgett Productions). Travis has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Missouri State University (2016). Travis would like to thank his family and friends for their unconditional love and support.
ANGEL Z. DUONG (Silver/Choreographer) is excited to make her debut at The Black Box! Angel brings elegance and versatility to burlesque, musical theatre, and cabaret. Known for her dynamic stage presence and expressive movement, credits include: STEVIE, A Chorus Line, Guys & Dolls, CATS, Rent – Choreographer (MTH), Luxuria, Tryst: A Lover’s Rendezvous, Whiskey Dynamite (Quixotic). EMMY HADLEY (Gold) is thrilled to make her debut at The BlackBox with this incredible cast & creative team! She is currently the Director of Choreography for Stage Right Performing Arts, and travels nationwide as dance adjudicator for DanceOut National Dance Competition. Emmy has both performed and choreographed professionally with numerous theatres throughout the Kansas City area, as well as regionally and nationally for television and film. Her most recent credits include performing as a singer/dancer for Worlds of Fun/Cedar Fair Entertainment, and serving as the choreographer for Maxine’s Christmas at Union Station’s City Stage Theatre. She feels so grateful to be here this holiday season!
SHELLY VERDEN (subbing for Brad, Saturday Dec. 6) is a actor, songwriter, and playwright local to Kansas City. Onstage credits: Rent (Music Theater Heritage), Jesus Christ Superstar (The Barn Players), Once (Kansas City Repertory Theater), Mother of Monsters (The Arts Asylum).
